This year's party will be held at Underground 119, a blues club in
downtown Jackson. We're celebrating Mississippi women past and present with
appearances from two authors:
Panny Mayfield, author of Live from the Mississippi Delta
&
Libby Hartfield, coeditor with Marion Barnwell, of
Fannye Cook: Mississippi's Pioneering Conservationist by Dorothy Shawhan
The authors will be available to sign copies of the books. In addition
to books, UPM will have prints and t-shirts for sale.
This event is open to the public, and ticket purchases
are payable at the event. You can also purchase a ticket via the Paypal link
