UPM author Toni Morrison's (What Moves at the Margin: Selected Nonfiction) new novel, A Mercy, was featured on the cover of the New York Times Book Review this weekend.
The New York Times is also featuring video as Toni Morrison discusses her new novel and the election of Barack Obama with Sam Tanenhaus, the editor of the Book Review.
What Moves at the Margin collects three decades of Toni Morrison's writings about her work, her life, literature, and American society. The works included in this volume range from 1971, when Morrison was a new editor at Random House and a beginning novelist, to 2002 when she was a professor at Princeton University and Nobel Laureate.
Morrison is also the focus of several other UPM books including Conversations with Toni Morrison and the 2007 volume, Toni Morrison: Conversations.
