UPM Influence Map

This week UPM and our associate presses at Association of American University Presses are celebrating the first annual University Press Week. The week long festivities highlight the extraordinary work of university presses and their many contributions to culture, the academy, and society.

One way that UPM and it's colleagues are demonstrating their impact is through a mapping project that shows a press' footprint in the world based on authors, subjects, and events. The full project featuring all university presses can be viewed here.

Below is a representation of our UPM's geographic influence using our Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 title list. Our list spans 8 countries, 3 continents. Each red flag marks the area of influence of a book subject and the yellow flag indicates where the author is from. Click on the map for a more detailed view.
