Norman Winter Podcasts

Southern Gardening Guru and UPM author Norman Winter (Tough-as-Nails: Flowers for the South) has been a syndicated gardening columnist for years. And now his expert advice on southern plants and landscapes is being cast to a much wider audience. Since 2006, Norman has been sharing his Southern Gardening Radio show via podcast. Gardeners across the South are beginning to take notice.

Garden and Gun Magazine's Best of the New South issue proclaims Norman Winter's Southern Gardening podcast as one of the "50 People, Places, and Things that make us proud."
Sounding a bit like Jim Nabors, Norman Winter greets listeners of his daily audio podcast with an inviting “Hello, gardeners” before launching into his latest two-minute treatise on larkspur or purple gomphrena. Gardening aficionados can subscribe to the segments for free via iTunes. The shows are also available here.

Norman Winter also has a forthcoming book from UPM. Captivating Combinations: Color and Style in the Garden will be available from UPM in March. Continue to check the blog for updates on the book.
